Seattle Astronomical Society
All volunteer organization dedicated to sharing the wonders of astronomy with individuals of every age. SAS hosts monthly public star parties at Green Lake and Paramount Park, assuming it isn’t cloudy.
SAS Astrophotography Special Interest Group
Started by members of SAS and BEAS, and open to everyone at all skill levels interested in photographing the night sky.
Museum of Flight
Located south of Seattle at Boeing Field, this is one of the most impressive Air and Space museums anywhere. The Shuttle Trainer and the other space exploration exhibits alone are more than worth the price of admission. Also the current meeting place for the Seattle Astrophotography SIG.
